About me

I’ve always loved keeping things simple✨and not overspending💰.

Do I worry about PFAS?

Of course I do.

I wear this underwear every month myself — against the most sensitive skin on my body, for hours at a time. I couldn’t put my name on something I wasn’t sure was safe. So I didn’t guess.

I tested it.

I sent our underwear to Kaken Test Center, an independent, internationally recognized lab in Japan, and asked them to screen for PFAS — the “forever chemicals” that have quietly shown up in so many period and leak-proof products.

The result: not detected. No detectable PFAS in either layer — and comfortably within California’s AB 1817, the strictest PFAS law in the United States.

That’s the standard I want against my own body. And yours.

Why it matters. PFAS are synthetic chemicals used to make fabric water- and stain-resistant. They’re called “forever chemicals” because they don’t break down — not in the environment, not in our bodies — and research increasingly links them to real health concerns.

Underwear rests against delicate skin all day, so what it’s made of isn’t a small detail. It’s the whole point.
